Enjoy an Italian Easter in Montalcino.

Happy New Year from sunny Montalcino!
We hope you all enjoyed these past festivities. Yesterday in Italy we celebrated Epiphany and we say that it takes all the festivities away, i.e. the holiday season is over!
But as we are always looking ahead, we would like to inform you that for the Easter holidays Villa Palazzetta is actually available this year as the owners will not be arriving till late April.
April is actually one of our favourite months as Spring is very vibrant: nature is rebirthing and the countryside is extremely green and lush with an explosion of wild flowers. The air is still very clear and the views over the Val d'Orcia from the villa are just breathtaking.
The days are getting longer and longer. You will be able to admire some stunning sunsets around 7:30/8pm while enjoying a nice "aperitivo" before heading to one of the many nice restaurants in town.
If you like to join one of the local Ester celebrations, an event which cannot be missed is held in Montisi (only 20 min drive from Montalcino) on Easter Monday and its called the Holy Breakfast: check our past blog about it.
